Running a Small Business in the Age of AI

Simple Tools and Dashboards That Give You Your Week Back

  • When: Friday, October 30, 2026
  • Time: 12:00 pm–1:00 pm ET
  • Where: Online on Google Meet
  • Cost: Free, no camera needed

You'll leave with

  • Which everyday tasks an AI chat assistant handles well (drafting replies and follow-up texts, summarizing notes, first drafts of how-we-do-it pages) and which stay with you and your people
  • How to turn a messy job list into a workable schedule with a plain-English prompt you can reuse
  • Common-sense privacy rules for what never goes into a chat box
  • Build your weekly numbers dashboard today: a one-tab spreadsheet with calls, quotes, jobs, money owed and repeat visits

It's Sunday night and you're still answering the quote request from Thursday, retyping job notes, and figuring out who goes where on Monday. None of it is the work you started the business to do.

This build-along is a practical look at AI for owners. We'll use a regular AI chat assistant to draft replies and follow-up texts, summarize notes, turn a messy job list into a schedule, and write first drafts of how-we-do-it pages. We'll cover the privacy common sense too, then build a simple weekly numbers dashboard in a spreadsheet you keep.

We're only handing off the busywork, so your customers still talk to you and your team.

Bring a laptop with a spreadsheet open. Camera is optional, and everyone who registers gets the recording, the worksheet and the dashboard file.
